Chairman Message      

It is such a happy occasion that I am going to write the message for the 6th time for the prospectus of Enam Medical College. In last one year our progress is very dynamic in every field. Two new 10 storied buildings are in rapid progress and now functioning upto 4th floor. This has extended the extra floor space for new outdoor, indoor as well as expansion of many basic science departments. Some most modern machineries have been purchased for the hospital. These include very high tech auto analyzer, machine for Coagulation factors, ERCP, C-arm and ESWL stone crush machine. Many well qualified new teachers have been given appointment. Prof. Latifa Shamsuddin of the deptt. of Gynae & Obs Banga Bandu Sheikh Mujib Medical University a very renowned Professor have joined in the deptt. of Gynae & Obs in Enam Medical College.

More over Gynae and Obs. Deptt. have been reorganized with six more qualified teachers. Gastroenterology and Radiology deptt have also been strengthened with addition of new teachers and new instruments and apparatus. Urology deptt. have been improved with the installation of ESWL stone crush machine. The total number of teachers is now 121 in Enam Medical College. The academic faculty is very strong and is like one of the top class Medical Colleges in Bangladesh. We are very pleased to announce that BCPS recognition have been given for the training of doctors in various subjects. Our progress as a Medical College and excellent tertiary care hospital is highly encouraging, satisfactory and being acknowledged by every quarter.
